What an incredible neighborhood pizza spot. It’s truly humbling to catch the owner passionately serving up pies and great subs. He’s such a nice guy too. Places like Old Fashion are what make New York City special. It’s not just about the food, and the food is great, but there’s a neighborly quality to the rare spots like these. I got the grandma slice. So delicious. I can’t wait to come back.

Went here on a Saturday night for a quick casual pizza dinner. Ordered the penne vodka, lasagna, and a couple of margarita pizza. Perfectly hot, delicious slices! Also service was so kind and personable. Would recommend if in the area!

place is really beautiful (old but clean and well decorated) and Jimmy is amazing. He takes care of his clients. Very good pizza. Very cozy place. During the winter break mainly locals go there so it is not crowded in the evenings (December 2022).

Just left this stellar pizza shop to pick up some slices before they closed (almost positive I met the owner, but who knows). Hands-down, best experience I’ve ever had at a pizza shop. Playing Sublime in-shop is a brilliant customer retention strategy. But because they were closing, they threw some extra slices in my box to boot. All of this, and the pizza is phenomenal (especially the deep dish). You’ve got a happy repeat patron any day, any week, guys. Thanks for brightening my day during one of the hardest times in my life.

Nate is incredibly personable and down to earth guy. His craft shows in the presentation and excellence of his creative pizza dishes. 5 starts all the way! Definitely check him out. Your taste buds will be pleased! Visiting from FL but will be back for sure.

This place has the absolute most delicious pizza crust I've ever had in my life from anywhere. My mind is absolutely blown, I had no idea wheat and water and yeast could taste so incredibly good. The toppings and stuff were good too but oh my god I actually sat there like a rat eating the crusts from each slice.

Great pizza, amazing service, cozy atmosphere! If you want a yummy slice at reasonable price, check this joint out. Less obnoxious than other spots in the hood. You can sit down at a table with friends, relax, and enjoy the exceptional service. EXAMPLES OF GREAT SERVICE (A) Passed by with my dog late at night once. Asked from the door if they still had slices. Guy said sure, invited me in, warmed up a slice. When I went to pay, he said "Don't worry about it, on the house." Register was probably closed but he wasn't gonna let me go hungry. (B) Another time, asked for a cup of water after I ordered a slice. "We don't have cups of water, grab a bottle." When I tried to pay for the water, he wouldn't let me. "It's cool, take the bottle. We didn't have what you requested." Stellar staff 100%.
